    • The procedure starts with a cleansing toner to take out any harmful bacteria in the area. This will be followed up with a topical anesthesia which be left on for 15-30 minutes to help numb the lips.
    • As soon as the lips are numbed out, the attendant will start the tattoo procedure itself. This takes around 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. After the procedure, the color will look bright red or hot pink and will remain like this for the following two to three days. Once the tattoo has healed completely, its true shade will be revealed.
    • Tattoo can last for 6 3 months (especially for people who are naturally acidic) before a retouch is needed. 
    • If you have darker lips, it is recommended that you have two sessions. The first session is where the dark color will be “washed out” while the second one will be for the full color tattoo. An interval of three weeks is recommended to allow the skin to heal properly.
